Join is as we kickoff Pilates Week with a special class taught by SESSION Pilates owner, Brittany Grignon and Pilates Live founder, Alexia P. Hammonds. Expect lots of sweat, laughs, and swag while raising money for a great cause, Pilates Youth Organization.

Classical Apparatus Workshop with Brett Howard

Deepen your classical repertoire knowledge about the particular apparatus. This workshop consists of exercises from basic to advanced and will include modifications, progressions and advancements as well as considerations for special populations. Variations of the exercises form multiple of the Pilates Elders are addressed. 

These Seminars cover the classical exercises on the Pilates Apparatus:

  • Mat
  • Cadillac/Tower
  • Chairs (Electric Chair and Wunda Chair)
  • Magic Circle
  • Reformer on the Mat

Shoulder Pathologies Workshop with Brett Howard

Participants will gain the ability to classify different pathologies of the shoulder, be able to recognize body systems of the human anatomy, and will be able to design and execute methods and protocols of working with specific populations of people with specific shoulder pathologies by implementing exercises of the Pilates method of body conditioning. The shoulder areas that will be covered are Rotator Cuff injuries, Frozen Shoulder, Shoulder Dislocations, Shoulder Subluxations and injuries of the Acromioclavicular joint.
